Wow. Political nonsense being quoted in a video does not debunk the very real, and rather basic, science behind the warming. I have no idea how you people can be so stupid as to think humans aren't causing the warming, but you need to stop spreading this anti-science crap, it makes conservatives look like fools.

I agree with you CGilliam. Believe what you want to believe in regards to climate change but nobody can deny the fact that humans are having a bigger impact on the planet than any one species ever has. When in the history of earth has there been one specie alone that has been the cause of so much carbon dioxide, sulfer dioxide, methane, and other anthropogenic pollutants? By the time we truly understand the implications that we're having (or if we're having an impact at all), the damage could already be done.
For as conservative as people on this site are, I'm always amazed that they can be so liberal in their views of treating our environment the right way. Isn't it sensible to be a bit more conservative right now in our treatment of the planet and think that yeah, there could be a possibility that our actions are having a negative impact and we should do what we can to reduce our ecological footprint rather than saying oh well, it's not me that's going to be effected? Even if we come to find out some day that earth is more resilient that ever expected, I'd rather die knowing I did what I could for my kids and future generations in trying to conserve and preserve what we have.

I think if man did not even exist the weather would still cycle out. Now if Gore could get a patent on volcano eruption control and reflect the solar flares then he would be even a richer man.

I agree Foxpaw. Earth consists of one huge cycle. Every natural thing about it is cyclic. Of course we would have weather cycles, ice ages, and thaws with or without human activity. These things have been happening since the beginning of time. It's very likely that these cycles are the explanation for some of the weather patterns and changes we see now. But because of many of the pollutants that humans are creating and releasing we don't and wont actually know for a while if humans are having a hand in or speeding up the process of these cycles simply for the fact that earth has never experienced these pollutants at the levels that it's being exposed to now.

I think the Earth is gradually getting warmer naturally, however, irresponsible human behavior may be hastening the process. Politicians and media maniacs label every weird weather episode as global warming. That embarrasses the science. On the other hand, many conservatives deny everything as a hoax. It has become a tragic comedy starring the fringe....both left and right.

why would anyone believe a guy about global warming who's primary house uses 21 years of your houses electricity in 1 year. clearly he doesn't even belive it.

I come across this way because you people that get your panties in a wad over left vs right political lies can't see how you are being played. Greenhouse gases are a very simple concept, and the fact that they are higher than ever, and increasing, at the same time we are nearing a population of 8 billion should tell you something. I'm only 48. I remember snow in Alabama on a regular basis. I remember trapping with ice on the ground with my brother when I was probably 8 or so.
In short, stick to the science and stop quoting Brietbart and other sources of garbage.
