Just started reading. So far so really good. Adventure and business of trapping in the early 1830痴. The business side is very interesting, Wyeth raised 16k for this venture. Also well written. The author has excerpts from Wyeth痴 journal and then discusses to clarify and put into context. Highly recommend.

BvrRetriever, Anything by author Robert Ruark.

"The Old Man and The Boy"
"The Old Man's Boy Grows Older"
"Use Enough Gun"
"Uhuru"

Peter Hathaway Capstick, also has some incredible books on hunting in Africa and India.

If you are into early American Fur Trade / Mountain Man stories. Terry C Johnson's "Carry The Wind" series of books are highly recommended.

Anything by Allan Eckert. I can't read like I did before my last surgery, no explanation, but loved all his books including the Frontiersman. Also ISHI, and The Witchery Of Archery, Fantastic reading if I recall.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....
