19 years is a good run.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Sorry for your loss, it is always difficult to lose a companion.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

It is a hard thing to lose a dog .At some point they know your life better than you do. I am at retirement age and I have a progressive disease I have two dogs .One is 3 years old and the other one is just 8 months old . If I have one wish left ,it would be that both of them are still here when I am not

Sorry for your loss its tough. I lost my dog and about a week later my lap cat last month. I'm just now kinda back to normal. There was a lot of things that were just about habit that we went through everyday.

One of life's tougher times. My little mut girl turns 15 today, and my cur boy is 9. I know that time is getting closer and I am not looking forward to it. Remember the good times, dogs are far and away one of the best companions a man can have.

I know a woman that will not get another pet/dog. She says that losing it was the worst time of her life. I said getting another helps get over the grieving.

Sorry to hear it. Like said above, 19 years is a great life. I'm certain he was loved and got to live a dog's life to the fullest.

Sorry for your loss Mark. I'm glad I got to meet your companion this summer. Losing a dog sucks, especially one that had as long a run as yours did.

Eh...wot?

Feeling for you young man.
It's hard to let go of a good dog or a good horse.

Sit on your horse on top of a ridge, look out across the country and tell me there is no God.
