A couple years ago I met a man at a farmers market and bought a handmade knife from him for 10 bucks. We talked for a bit and by the end he had invited me to his place to make a knife and talk traps. Sadly before I got the chance he died. He said his name was Gary and claimed to be Jeff Dunlaps dad. Well I’m curious if he’s really Jeff’s dad and how I might get another knife if he left any behind. Any info on this is appreciated.

Jeff's Dad was Gary he was a furbuyer and heck of a trapper during the 70s and 80s also made lures I didn't know he made knives but he did everything else so its not a surprise

As others said he’s active on Facebook and will respond pretty quick. Make sure mention his dad right away as he gets lots message I think. Gary moved to Alaska and made sold knives there. He passed away a year or so ago

If you can’t find Jeff on Facebook look under Dunlap lures. And if that doesn’t work go to the trapping talk page on Facebook. He administers that and if you post there someone will definitely forward it to him

He has a web page for Dunlap lures. I emailed him last week and he got back with me within a day.
