You would think eh!

She had a wisdom tooth pulled Friday. Wasn't in any mood to assist!

I hate having to actually work!

Well, just because I can only walk into the cabin (and because I have ben trapping), I haven't don't much with the cabin.

Although this morning I did pick up a nice Regency f100s wood stove for it. $200.00 on a classifieds site! Needs a baffle, but in perfect shape.

Ice is freezing up now, so it wont be long till I can get there by snowmobile. I did go into it by sled a week and a half ago, but probably shouldn't have as the swamps I need to cross were just snow, not much ice. lol.

If I had stopped the sled would still be there. Walked that route last night and it was frozen nicely. Just need some snow for the land trail part and I will be all set to run in there.

The gains come slow when you're doing it all yourself. I feel your pain. I hope I live long enough to get mine done. I'm further along than this dated pic shows.

Hutchy are you in a lake snow effect zone? Looking at your lean to side would it carry 2 feet of wet snow ?

The insulation you are using is usually mouse resistant is it not?, compared to the pink ( mouse pillow) stuff.

the baffle on the stove was probably taken out along with the stupid Califoria catalic converter in it......

After a long summer of being busy at work, finally getting some time to work on the cabin. Got the roof metal all on, and the interior is coming along nicely. V joint pine. Some of it needs a bit of a sand, but it's all getting a light white wash.

Still need siding, but the door locks, it's fully insulated and will keep the weather out.

Oh heck ya. Just don't turn it inside out!

Actually I generally always hang it upside down. Kind of like a small spiteful act that reduces the effectiveness of the free advertising...maybe next time I'll go inside out and really screw them over. Jokes on them I guess in this case, since about four people have seen the cabin lol

Nice progress Hutchy. I was actually just wondering how the cabin build went the other day. Thanks for the updates. Getting closer!

Once I am done with it, it will be the taj Mahal!

I wish I had two weeks straight to finish it totally. Oh well, chip away at it here and there.
