Block and a half away, drunk driver ran into a tree. Apparently, they had to cut him out. Cops have been tearing down my street for the last hour. Great when you really want to sleep.

I hear you. I live along a busy highway. A few weeks ago a guy rolled his truck over and got killed right in front of our place. Seems like there is something going on about once a month. It's been many years ago but early one morning two semis hit head on. I tell you that about jarred me out of bed. Amazing that only one was killed in that wreck. Another time a college girl ran her car under a mobile home that was being moved. Took her head right off. There are times I'd like to move far away from the highway and out on some peaceful gravel road.

Poor people have poor ways.

I see a lot of signs in the country tell people to slow down. You just have to get some of those farmer to look before they pull out of a field.

I live on a 55mph state highway, with lots of tractor activity. Sometimes its hard to tell if the car/truck is doing 55 or 60 or 80. People need to obey the speed limit, its there for safety reasons. And people really need to stop passing on uphills.
