I've been invited to do some Rainbow and Brown Trout fishing and would appreciate some fly recommendations for late fall and winter, heck even next spring. It will be in a Creek and I have a 4wt St Croix rod. Thanks!
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Wooly buggers have taken lots and lots of trout. Maybe more than any other fly I'd wager. I always have them in my fly box. Also for that aree of the country, a beaded and non beaded hares ear nymph would be an excellent choice as well. Wouldnt go without them either. Those small nymphs can mimic a lot of different aquatic life. Dry fly fishing is fun, but most of the time fishing a wet fly is more productive.

If I only had one fly to use on streams and creeks, it would be a #12 bead head pheasant tail on a scud hook under a small strike indicator. Lots of 20-30 fish days on that combo.

Yellow stimulators. Floats good, easy to see, and catches lots of trout!

Adams. If they are not surface feeding, zip it wet.
Made it almost 3 years without censor!

An egg pattern works well in both fall and spring, under a small indicator.

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions, seen a lot of the same flies mentioned which is great. Would I have any chance of buying most of these in like a package or will I have to get them separate?

Many good patterns listed, most of which I use pretty frequently and catch fish with. Not exactly sure where you will be fishing, but a local fly shop can be a good source of information for exactly what is working on the water(s) you will be fishing. They can be a big help in choosing the right pattern to at least start with.
Best of luck to you.

good recommendations above.
I'd also try to find a hatch chart for where you are going to be at - depending on the water, there may be somethign you need to try to match around here, i like stonefly patterns, both dry and nymph
