Someone sent me this photo and I have no idea where it was taken. It was mentioned that it could have been in a city park in Austin. Wish I had that dog.

Sit on your horse on top of a ridge, look out across the country and tell me there is no God.

Nice dog I’d say that yote needs to find a higher gear.

Chasing it is one thing fighting it is another. Seen a lot of dogs that would chase them but few would grab one

Just saw on the news, In Central Ill a little girl around age 8 was attacked by a Yote in her own yard. NO injuries, but scared the crap out of her, caught on a security camera.

That coyote has a much bigger cranial cavity than normal, which likely comes from a large dose of domestic dog DNA. The coyotes ear set looks very wrong for a coyote running in fear too. Scared coyotes ears go flat back. It would not surprise me if the dog behind is the father of that coyote and running with them.

I would like to hear the story behind the photo.

It's a common coyote ploy to lure a single dog down a trail where others are waiting to jump him. Especially during summer and spring months. Cornfields are there preferred areas of these attacks.
