In the past I have shot Muzzys and Thunderheads with a high degree of performance. We now shoot Magnus Stinger serrated broadheads, excellent penetration. You use 100g?

When i used mech's i loved spitfires and they worked great but they got expensive when you shoot alot of does. I switched to fixed blades and i have a stockpile of magnus stingers 2 and 4 blade either work fine. The grain you choose is what you need to tune your arrows. You can use different lengths of arrow with different spines with different grain heads to get the whole rig to shoot accurately, it isnt just randomly choosing a broadhead weight. Ive used muzzys, montecs, and maybe tried a few others and magnus was my favorite by far.

^ very true. A good schooling on that subject would be a good thread and always something to learn from information.

Fixed blade. 100 grain "Exodus" broadheads from QAD. The full blade, not the swept version. Been using them for the past 4-5 years and see no reason to switch.

I’ve been using the muzzy 4 blade 100gr broadheads and am happy with them.

Muzzy 100gr 3 blade here. I am confident when I shoot that the blades will do there job. I believe a cut bleeds better then a bullet hole. I have a stockpile of them now and just switch the blades after each kill. I will target a front shoulder when the deer is angled towards me, some mechanical broadhead shooters will shy away from that shot. I mostly hunt when it is below freezing and snowing. I don’t want a mechanical freezing up on me so I shoot fixed blades. The muzzy’s come in 6 packs for the same price as other brand 3 packs.
