What the tree color in Michigan looking like thinking about going that direction in the next couple days.
Here in Southern Indiana there is some just starting to change still a little early for us.

The place I stay in the UP posted on FB that the fall colors are early this year. Ahead of schedule so to speak.

It is what it is.

Interesting, here in south central Wisconsin I would say they are behind a little bit.
The soft maples in the lowland just behind our house are beginning to turn the last couple days.
Overall, you can sure see fall is about here, a few yellows here and there, one tree will light up before the rest etc.

Yep, that is the way it seems. One will light it up and then it starts full steam ahead. That is the way it is here now. I need to float the river very soon. Just got to miss the snowballs, though. LOL

In Eastern WI we are behind in leaf turning, by how much I can't say for sure but a good week for sure and that is a long time when one figures that leaf turning is a day light impacted trait. Also the ones that are changing do not seem to have the typical vibrant colors that we usually see. That may be some species that leafed later. Will watch the next few weeks. My tomatoes are 3-4 weeks behind my normal canning time line.
