The soft maples in the lowland just behind our house are beginning to turn the last couple days. Overall, you can sure see fall is about here, a few yellows here and there, one tree will light up before the rest etc. Zim

bblwi trapper B Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 11,361 East-Central Wisconsin	In Eastern WI we are behind in leaf turning, by how much I can't say for sure but a good week for sure and that is a long time when one figures that leaf turning is a day light impacted trait. Also the ones that are changing do not seem to have the typical vibrant colors that we usually see. That may be some species that leafed later. Will watch the next few weeks. My tomatoes are 3-4 weeks behind my normal canning time line. Bryce
