I tried to call them at 345. got no answer. sent them a message on their website with the additional amount my bank charged me for cashing the check. I am optimistic that I will be paid. they have already damaged their reputation , I cant imagine them allowing it to be worse unless they are out of business or going out of business

I'm betting NAFA will be doing business just the same as last selling season. My check didn't bonce and neither did my trapping partners.

If there was no money to cover the first check, what is the second check going to do? If some peoples checks cashed, I would venture to say theres not enough cash, not an error.

Well I’m not gonna take a chance and deposit mine. Will try again Monday to get ahold of someone and see if they’re gonna reissue

Txcoonman is correct. It was a simple, honest mistake. At least NAFA is stepping up and covering the fees.

It is unfortunate that some of the checks “bounced” but it happened. It is also unfortunate that it is causing such a panic among NAFA shippers.

What's unfortunate is that much of the panic seems to be by folks who aren't NAFA shippers.

I am a NAFA shipper and they bounced my check. Some folks make a portion or all of their bill money in the winter by trapping. Mine was luckily not a huge check but it could have been.

Nancy I disagree with your assessment of the situation. It was not a mistake and it is far from simple. If you make a mistake, you rectify it and reach out to those you wronged. I have heard nothing from them. As far as paying my bank fee goes, they should. By law here I could go after them for more. As for panicking the shippers.....If you are at ease and willing to ship to someone who at best cannot balance a check book then by all means ship away. I saw the writing on the wall last fall after the great coon sale going into a selling season. Averaged a whopping 5 bucks on that one....LLL

Well some will write a bad check knowing It's going to be a bad check. I'm betting NAFA didn't start writing checks knowing they were going to be bad.

I can see where If you've already written some checks and then you make a change In banks where some checks might not be good. But from what I see some of us had good checks and some had bad checks so maybe that scenario makes sense.
I just don't believe NAFA Is going to leave anyone hanging out to dry.

I still owe them about $20.00 for my WFSC dues. LOL
