I have had an Excalibur Exomax for 10+ years, going strong as always.

I’d look for. A used Excalibur, great bows. Somewhat wide, older ones but really accurate n reliable.

X 3 on the Excalibur. Have had an Exocet 200 for quite some time. Very accurate and reliable.
Eh...wot?

CenterPoint Sniper 370 Whisper! They have been on sale at Cabelas for $229. I bought one last year and several T-Man members have them as well. It is a super accurate, well-made crossbow that will not break the bank. Read the reviews on them.
Moosetrot Hey Moosey, do you know if these are crank load compatible? I see they come with a rope but wondered, they look good for the price.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

re-curve can be maintained by you with almost no equipment, a compound will need tuning and a bow press.

Ten-Point......the standard by which all others are measured☺ I sure can't complain about mine. I'm going on 5 years and frankly have abused it and it just keeps going. I started with an Excalibur but the long limbs didn't work well in the tree. WS

Stay away from the centerpoint bows. Two friends of mine have them and both had broken limb issues during the season. The excaliburs are darn near bullet proof, stupid accurate and have little to no maintenance issues. Shoot a good arrow like Black Eagle executioners and the bow will serve you well. The latest bow they have is the Axe 340 most are selling for under 600 bucks and its a shooter for sure.
