It helps when you own the ranch where the Elk stay! When I was looking for where the Elk would be I was being watch! He had lunch with a deer so I was safe!

I leave Sunday for my hunt in Jackson so leave a couple of stupid ones for us.

I like that picture. I haven't seen one now for a few years but have crossed paths with some in the past few years.

If I never touch another elk in my life I will be just fine with it. I was the pack mule five years in a row and never got to hunt due to packing out others critters who were in terrible physical condition. Never again.

We are driving. Looks like I better load the Tundra in the back of the truck to bring with.

Coming from Casper I may actually take the long way there just to try to avoid the pass in the snow on Monday morning.

Togwotee pass should be good Monday. No wally world in Crowheart, just the store and post office. You might need bail money in Jackson just saying!

I won't need bail. I can outrun the guy I am going with. HE may need it but not me. If you see a classic old Chevy truck come through town around noon be sure to wave.

Stop at the Crowheart store their will be something you just have to take back with you. Guns, bead work lots of neat stuff and a lot cheaper than Jackson Hole.

Did anybody bring up the fee to cross the rez yet? Cash is good!
