A buddy of mine is trying his hand at making knives and I asked him to make a pelter for me. I gave him some old antlers I had for him to use in his builds and this is what he came up with. I am hoping it works as nice as it looks.
Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

That was my thought but I will use it and see if it works on some types of animal better than others. Either way will look good in the fur room.

I believe so he is a jack of all trades and a tinkerer so nothing he makes suprises me. He and I used to make lamps out of whatever free junk we found at garage sales I still have an 18lbs green bowling ball lamp we made in middle school. His craftmanship has come a long way lol.

I agree lumberjack he will drop it off tomorrow and hopefully I will get to try it out in a couple weeks.

Looks nice but not very practical IMO. Will be very awkward to use with that curved handle IMO.
