You know I never even gave it a thought on the weight. Just dropped it off at the processor

Well I had antelope steak for dinner tonight and have to tell you it was great. I dont know why some guys here dont like it but I was very pleased with the taste. Maybe the processor has something to do with it also.

Good job. Our son and son-in-law left this afternoon for WY to hunt mule deer in east-central WY. I don't know the zone or area.

I applied online for the draw. My son in law has a friend there that is a resident there. He and his father took us out. They really knew the land well and that was important as you really need to know where the boundaries are. Some of the areas were pretty cut up. Also I think I remember reading in the hunting book as a non resident you need to be with a guide or a resident hunter. Correct me if im wrong on this.

You only need a guide in a wilderness area. Nice speed goat. And they make fantastic jerky also. Hint Hi Mountain seasoning garlic/pepper.

I will look into the hi mountain seasoning. Thanks for the tip! That will be good in the PA deer stand!

Nice Pronghorn. They are a beautiful animal and not something you could hunt in PA. Congrats!

Let's go Brandon!

I've eaten antelope in a number of ways, but one time a ranchers wife simply took a roast and rubbed it in olive oil and baked it till just better than rare. I do not recall any other spices. It was terrific.
