Yep..I have been in and out of them for a month with archery equipment..I don't know the names of them all..It just seems there was never that perfect one..What is it about the ground blind you have and why it's the perfect blind?..One thing was for sure didn't have any place for my bow to hang..didn't have the room needed on the draw back..cam hitting the top of the blind..35 axle to axle..didn't really care for the shoot the screen concept..I do see a great advantage in them..especially if you can't get a tree stand near the target area..one other thing couldn't stand up from time to time to stretch..needs to be easy to set up..and the wind..can't have them moving..Anyways what do you think?..

I have had many different types and brands but basically the same results as you are describing. I do use them nd I like to use them. I have many set up in different spots and like to get the biggest foot print I can buy. I make a simple hanger/stand and I like the fact I can move a draw better under concealment then a tree stand anymore. We hunt here in very cold conditions and all type of weather so that is one more reason for using them here.
I just had to replace one that the rain/snow broke down the top and broke the fiber support poles. I already put a new blind there and will be getting a new one to replace that one.
The best blinds I have are the Double Bull Blinds. I have had some for 15 to 16 years now.

I shoot a cross bow now, but up till about 4 years ago I shot a Baby G Force PSE bow. I don't have any problems then or now shooting from a blind. There are things you have to adjust too. I made a stand to hold my bow that had a stake to step on into the ground. Also most my stands have guy chords to help anchor and hold steady in the wind. One thing I like about using a blind now is you can have kids in them and they can fidget and move around, color or whatever and the blind helps conceal movement. Also I have a couple blinds (I own 6 or 7) that have zipper windows besides the screens. If the weather is to be bad (cold , windy, or wet) for rifle or muzzy deer season (even early spring turkey) I set them up with a propane bottle with a heater and it makes a great way to hunt most all day in comfort. My son used to come out and we would spend the day BSing while he waited for a deer. Now he has young kids I hope he would start to bring out. I don't use them a lot when it is just me hunting with my cross bow or while I am out predator calling. Even antelope hunting I do not use a blind. I just sit around the windmill the rancher usually has 4 gates around to keep cattle away from the pump. Always some weeds inside which I use for camo..... no blind. I am building more permanent blinds from steel and poly tanks. But I still like a pop up for certain set ups.

Stick in the ground bow holder or a bow pod. The mesh is pretty necessary for close range. I have a DB double wide or something like that, plenty of room, e-z set up/take down and good windows. Keeps scent somewhat contained. Best to leave em out but I hunt mostly public so that's not happening....real nice for xbow since shooting sticks and scope can extend the archery range which is beneficial on a same day set/hunt. Very good for observing in an open environment. Killer at long gun ranges. Same day set/hunt may not matter as much for cruising bucks if you blend it in good but home range deer can get alarmed at this thing just appearing....there are ways around that.

I had mine made up custom a few years ago from https://www.luckyshuntingblinds.com/Easy Up , easy take down ...Not cheap but worth it!!! This picture was taken just after I had set it up fot spring Turkey...when hunting in it I close the back windows so animals cannot se inside movements.

Got a blind, I think it is an Ameristep that we put on a little quarter acre food plot I made in the middle of our forty acre woods back in 2003. It is around 6'x6' I think and has never moved. Wife has repaired it, guyed it up to prevent snow collapse, added a tarp over the roof, and other general upkeep. We have 2 plastic armchairs in it and it has plenty of room for shooting a compound bow, shotgun, rifle, crossbow, slingshot or whatever. I would have to get a calculator to add up the number of deer and turkeys that have been shot out of that thing over the years. It has a very nice patina of moss, lichens, leaves and such.
