Cool here this morning, 34* and my son is heading for a 300 mile fall foliage run on his motorcycle through the Adirondacks today. As much as I like to ride, and enjoy the Adirondack Park, not today for me.

I didn't hit the poot sack until around 1130 this morning. Had a kidnapping and sexual assault this morning and the perp stole the victims vehicle. So I was working on that as this turd just got out of prison and has done two agg. assaults and one agg robbery since Wednesday. I went into the neighborhood where this happened and got with the old matriarch of this area. She is 99 years old and told all of her kinfolk to help us and get this person that desecrated their land by committing such an evil act upon another person. It didn't take an hour and I had more info coming in than I could keep up with. Then, they helped us catch him when he ran from us. If you will build lasting, trusting relationships early on in your career in LE, it will benefit the citizens and the communities. It is imperative that the trust runs both ways.
