Want to get a good pair of leg gaiters in camo pattern. Who makes a good pair for the money. All sorts of em on the net. I wanna hear from those who use them. Any comments? Thanks

I tried gaiters for the first time last year, wore them hunting in Alaska and trapping here in Wyoming. I loved them, but he pair I bought didn't even make the full season. I will be watching this.

I don't know about camo, but I have a pair of OR Gaiters in Black I bought years ago for my sheep hunt, I only break them out now when we get a heavy snow. But are worth the money.

NCM we had a tent and awning company near me that used to hand make them.
I will try to get over there on Monday and see if they still do.
Not sure about color, mine are black and15 years old, they have been through some stuff over the years
I used to do a lot of rabbit hunting and also wear them for work and on snwshoes.
I had them make me a tall pair that go up over the knees.

I did a brief search on leg gaiters on the webb did a little reading. There are tons of gaiters listed on E bay. Some on amazon. And most sporting good supply stores have a few kinds listed. I will do some more research before I buy a pair or two. Wished I could find some that are light weight and possibly go over the knee. Thanks all for the comments!!

I have been using Cabelas chaps similar to these for about 10 years. Mostly I need them to keep my jeans legs dry when wading through snow covered brush.

X2 Bought some years ago for elk hunt. Now use for snow, mud and brush. Gaiters are the best solution to keep boots tied going brush busting.

Outdoor Research makes great gaiters, many to choose from and a good selection of discounted ones on ebay.

I like my $69 Kuiu gaiters. Light, waterproof, and durable.

I have a pair of them too. Double tin waxed chaps and they have served me well.
