swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

did it have eyes that looked bigger than silver dollars??
i'll get in the stand this evening,as much a fact finding mission as anything.i have never let myself get infatuated with one deer, but between the one i've been seeing and a couple doe tags.i'm after just one for a while.granted i'm 51 and he's as big as i've saw and close to home. It had big eyes especially when that lite lit up the owl.

I usually wait till the 20th to go out. Don’t know if it’d feel right to shoot a buck this early and wait till next year

Saw the alpha herd bull groundhog. The elusive trophy did not offer a shot.
Surprised the deer not working the chestnuts this season. Obvious they are liking something better. If you find a working pattern, stay on it cause it WILL change lol.
Nice one GH, good luck to all.

Was informed there is one at a processor with my name on it. Karma coming back makes a guy have faith.
I'll have to learn how to cook these "factory" cut portions lol. Happy.
I too used to take 2-3, now with less mouths to feed, extra goes to those no longer able.
