RIP man.....

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

This song is on my YT playlist. Probably listen to it at least once a week, usually more...

IMHO, one of the greatest songs ever written.

RIP Ginger Baker.

Right there with ya 52Carl, he was an amazing drummer whose patterns have not been duplicated by any other drummers since him.

I wore out the grooves on those albums too. Great music.

For those interested; Ginger did a long drum solo on the last tract of the 1966 album "Fresh Cream" titled "Toad." Look t up on YouTube

I read an article a while ago and I thought it was neat. Ginger told the reporter that everyone considered him a rock&roll drummer and he said that they are all wrong. He said if you know music you know that what I play on the drums is Jazz, it's Jazz. I found that interesting.

I agree the drummer was like no other.
That band had a pretty good guitarist too.

We were way to poor in even know of such a group let alone have a record etc.. Never listened to them or heard of the group but then music like wasn't a big thing for me. If music was playing it was CW at that time in my life.

So, I did a search of the time frame and it was around 1967 the way it looked. I'm not sure we even had a TV then. LOL
