Would I have thought back home in Alabama catching critters would get me where I am tonight. Unfortunately an NDA prevents me from saying where and who. Let's just say one of the biggest film industry events Atlanta will see probably in my lifetime.
I'm particularly impressed with how many greet me by name considering the work I do is done on the down low.

I do love the part about the article where it states the civil war was fought for the south just to keep the slaves. Ah how history is written by the victors. We have monument down here right in the middle of a large black community. In big bold letters it states "Lincoln's Tax War". I will try to remember to take a pic next time im by it.

My task was wildlife safety. Not for the wildlife sake but in the event a critter should pop up in front of the guests I would be called in to wrangle it. There was a specialist or crew for every possible contingency medics, plumbers, hvac, electrical, etc. If it broke down it was to be fixed right now. As the place is newly completed that meant we sat and watched football, lol. Seriously it's boring being on site stand by.
As I told my contact if an animal showed up uninvited then I haven't been doing my job for the last three years.
I had no contact with the event itself outside of the pre event employee celebration.

The one funny was after the grand finale fireworks show, and grand it was, I joked that there goes my wildlife problems. And I'll be danged if for the first time in three years not a single goose could be found. LOL

I had a gig kinda like that one time. The Country Music Association and Chevy were putting together a CMA calendar. Each month had a pic of a different country music group or individual artist posing with a Chevy vehicle of some kind. When the Director had been out with the Location Scout, they had seen a bobcat run across one of the farm roads. I was hired to stay with the crew and artist to make sure they wouldn't be attacked by a bobcat. Kinda funny what folks from the concrete jungles are afraid of. Was nice to be paid for that in addition to my regular salary.
