If anyone wants some horse manure I have it.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I think I’ll try it. I have plenty of it here. Should smell natural around my farm and land
We’re airborne! We are supposed to be surrounded!

I used some very dry horse poop last Feb. on land and caught fox, coyote and cats with it. I seem to remember OGorman using this as well as chicken litter for a trap covering. Anyone else use this? It didn’t look too bad on the set. used all my dry barn dirt with manure for 30 plus yrs. I really like it.

When I trap pastures after cattle are out, caught a lot of coyotes running the old worn cattle trails. There are plenty of dried cow chips around, very natural smell for that piece of land. I've stacked them up two or three high to make them a prominent object and made those into flat or post sets. A dirthole at base of a cow pie with a mousey bait is a great set. Most coyote or horse droppings contain lota of fibers and grains, very attractive to mice after they dry out a bit. Coyotes will sometimes eat them too. Grab a dried pie and shave it through a sifter like grating cheese and that is a great way to blend in a set and cover the trap dirt pattern. Works for me. I'm sure horse apples are no different if in an area where there may already be some. If not they will be interesting tona coyote as an attractor but I'd pile them up make a flat or post set out of them and then maybe use a little dried material to blend in the set but id want their focus on the object not the dirt pattern. Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
