That's my go to skinner and EDC. I bought the last American-made ones my fur-dealer had on the shelf back when Schrade closed and Taylor bought the brand and started making them in China. 2004 I believe it was.

Eh...wot?

Thanks, I did know that and check out the radio show. I will not be buying benchmade knifes and can add them to buy do not buy list. I will also put out the word. What a bunch dummies biting the hand that feeds them.

Only folder I carry is the one in my SOG multitools and the one that masquerades as a key on my key ring. Things smaller than my wallet do not stay in my pockets well and will either fall out of the pocket when sitting or be misplaced when taken out of said pockets at the end of the day.

I don't often carry one any more ever since I learned how to kill a man with my bare hands but when I do I have several to choose from for different occasions:

Guess I'll be different. I carry a Tidioute trapper pattern from GEC. The blades are 3-1/4" long and carbon steel. The scales are cherry and it has a nickel colored beaver on one of them. A well made knife that most people would collect instead of use.

I just bought this Case Mini Trapper about one month ago. "Pocket worn" bone handle I think it was called. I'm still getting used to not having a pocket clip on my knife. Them pocket clips sure are handy...... [Linked Image]

Nessmuck, looks familiar. My father carried this knife everyday, it's with me every day now.

I’ve had a case trapper in my pocket for almost ten years now. I keep it sharp and it serves me well but I think it’s almost time to retire it. The handle has started to crack and break.

I have an old boy scout knife that I just got. I had one just like it back in the 70's, and though I lost the original knife, I still have the scar it gave me.

Got an old Boker that my moms uncle gave me in the 60s .It was well used ,I had that till the bone handles came off .But I still have it. I see that Southeastern outdoors supplies has some but the add does not say US . But they were made in Germany. but the price is 75 dollars maybe it is.

SOG "Slim Jim" model. Google it. Great knife and great service from the company.

Have two... First one I broke the blade using it as a prybar, sent it to SOG and they sent me a new one free of charge. Lost that one. Ordered another. Got that one and than found the lost knife. Now I have two!
