car top surfing , they wouldn't go fast but driving around secondary streets in town standing on the roof. this was the 80s
a few weeks ago I saw a 1/2 ton truck driving down the state highway with no drivers door
stopped to help some kids last year , throttle cable broke so they asked if they could borrow a wrench , they took the hood off , one kid was going to ride in the engine compartment sitting on the front fender of this s10
I was worried I was going to hear about them on the news , with a dead kid so I lent him a tow strap so his friends in the other truck an f150 could pull him home. guy said he was dating a girl in my town , I told him where to drop off the tow strap. well you can guess I never got it back but it was old and a small loss and bonus no dead kid on the morning radio.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Back in the 70's I had a 64 Chevy Impala that I wanted to jack the back end up. I didn't have the money for air shocks so I put 2x4's between the axle and floor boards. Man that was a stiff ride. lol Once I hit a pothole and both 2x4's went through the floorboards. Lesson learned lol
I don’t trap because I want to I trap because I have to

Had a guy glue a bunch of pennies to his car, and painted it all kinds of colors, drew trees on it, etc. with spray paint of course. Pretty sure he was touched. Had a guy that used to ride a bicycle with one wheel on the guard rail. Named Floyd Harris. Somebody put some old film of him on You Tube. https://youtu.be/vqNoCu7k-pkHad a guy put a fiberglass boat on a car frame and drove it around for several years. Went by Roach, not sure of his real name.

I saw a DeLorean come down Main Street 2 years ago in the town I live in
Sadly It didn't fly and didn't reach 88mph, still a trill to see

Guy next door to my hunting cabin had an old flatbed truck that the fuel pump went out. He wired a plastic gas can to the roof, shot a hole thru the hood with a .38, and ran a hose down to the carb!

When I was just back from the service and going to school, ('74), I hung a piece of 4" well casing on the exhaust manifold and wired it in place for an exhaust system, worked, didn't kill me, and really sounded great!

Might not be crazy although I think it is. I just bought a 1983 AMC Eagle yesterday. I paid $100 for it and it is in amazing condition. A guy bought it with intention of restoring it completely. He has extre door for the one with a small rust hole in it and new bumpers and the rubber bumper pieces. It was in his garage the past twenty years. Need new gas lines and brake lines to be drivable. Be tried to sell it for more but nobody would even come look at it. Thank you for not people...
Wish I had more time to trap....

A guy up near Duluth (]Carlton? Proctor) had multiple DWI's and therefore, no drivers license.
He motorized a reclining chair and drove it to the bar. He not only got another DWI, but, had his chair impounded. The last I heard, the city was auctioning it off.
