My dehumdifer quit this summer an some of coon boards an flesh beam have white mold, i may have posted this before. But is wiping off with a little peroxide or wd40 best an ok to do it a few days before a coon on boards ? Not interested in spend tons time on power wash an dry old greasy boards Those boards are pretty much junk now with that mold on them. You'd best have you a bonfire tonight, and then order some new boards !!!

Diluted bleach in a spray bottle and let it sit in the sun for a while. Kills the mold and gets the spots off the board.

Thought I was having Déjà vu Yeah I bet he has 6 or 7 threads in the last 6 months titled "DP coon bait" all asking the same thing. I hear too much whiskey mixed with jello powder wreaks havoc on the memory.

That wont be very helpful. It will just make the board too hard to push a pin in.

It dry there now. Maybe a lil wipe with wd 40 an dry by fan. Would wd,40 evaporate fast ? Hurt anything to lay back on board pile the next day ? Someone say to never spray it on ignition lock. I did once. Dirt from trapping gum up, say it dont evaporate ? Supposed penetrate wood an kill mold

Way off topic, wd40 is a terrible lube. I wont disagree with that...but still. They do make a bunch of specialized stuff now that is pretty useful for certain things. They have dry ptfe, silicone, some other stuff that is wd40 brand. The original stuff is garbage but i use the specialized wd40 stuff for our bike chains. I use ballistol on squeeky hinges and things that need light lube.

He already did he's going to defrost his freezers.
Coomman220 just take your fleshing knife and scrape off the mold on your beam and you will be good to go.

I went though everthing yesterday that use for fur processing, used hydrogen peroxide, on mold, include some belly wedges an flesh beam, it came back in few spots the white after dry an did again, let air out overnite an stack piles today, it is in good place in winter or cold low humidity weather to dry hides but nothing can do in humid weather as no place else to store, the dehumdifer was a big expensive one at $100 to $200, not just to many years back, I doubt we'll be buy a new one anytime ever

Think about this for all you smart guys, even if dave doesn't choose to take your advice, he makes posts that are relevant to many people who read this forum. Thus when you answer his questions without the smartass replies, you are helping many other people who read and don't post. If there were anyone out there concerned about mold on their fleshing beams or wooden stretchers, they certainly have received a load of good advice here on it. (if they can sort through the trash) This of many of connman220's other posts as well,,, I bet you now know to avoid Chevy Colorados, cheap waders & employment through temp agencies,,, you know many bait recipes and the proper way to defrost a freezer. Cut the guy a break. He doesn't pick on anyone here. https://trapperman.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/ubb/userposts/id/7428/view/started/page/3 - read through there. I'd just like to point out that coonman220 asked what he should use to clean his boards on two separate posts, then chose an option that NOBODY suggested on this post, hydrogen peroxide. This could've been resolved after I posted the link to his first post about 3 posts into this thread. But at least it's good entertainment. We all need something to keep us busy until season starts. That would be the problem, I have noticed. Just like my kids, ask for advice and ignore it.

I sprayed some beaver boards that had some green mold on them a couple years ago with diluted bleach and wiped them down. That seemed to take care of the problem.
