I’m usually pretty fair at identifying insects but I can’t seem to find this one. There are at least a dozen or more laying eggs on my green ash tree. I haven’t seen them until the last couple days.[Linked Image][Linked Image][Linked Image][Linked Image]

Never mind it’s a cedar beetle.

It was about as long as a quarter. But I’m reasonably certain it’s a cedar beetle. https://bugguide.net/node/view/148447?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
