So got a new syringe pole attachment in the mail today and glad I looked at the receipt. Takes a lot of integrity to just mail out cash with an order for the shipping refund. Most people wouldnt check or dispute it based on the postage on the box. Fine example of a great company in my opinion and why I prefer to order from them.

ND Native, before you use or attempt to screw the skunk sleeper on your pole lube the threads good and be careful with the threads that hold the syringe plunger. I got one last year and screwed the plunger on and it stuck. I tried to get it loose but never could. I hope you have better luck with yours than I did. Back to the thread, yes Minnesota Trapline beats any company I have ever dealt with.

Hands down my favorite and go-to trapping supply company. I use FNT, Northern Trapping and Southern Snares, but MTP gets 90% of my orders.

So shipping was $2 less than you paid online and they sent you the difference? Dang, I know it doesn't cost as much as they charge to send something Speedee from MN to WI and I've never gotten a refund.

If you order 132 pounds of stuff it's still $19.95, try shipping 132 pounds and see what it cost you!

That's exactly the explanation they gave a fellow trapper when he called and posed that same question to them. Hence my surprise they actually issued any sort of refund on shipping costs.

The last order I paid the $19.95 shipping on and got a free 4oz bottle of coyote lure so do the math! Good, fast and honest service is hard to find but the trapping industry had a great selection of dealers to work with that makes ordering easy.

I had a dealer once charge me $15.00 shipping for a $4.95 flat rate box at the time. I believe it was less then $2 over the lower level, we never did business again after that.

MTP has been great in my experience. One time I was near their shop for work and figured I would stop by after working for the day and pick some stuff up (rather than placing an order online). I wanted to make sure they open so I called. They informed me that they don't have a retail store but if I wanted to place an order over the phone I could stop by and pick it up and save shipping. I told them not to worry about it as I was less than a half hour away and I would just place it when I got home. They said the timing was no problem and that it would be ready. I placed the order over the phone and when I arrived 20-25 minutes later my entire order was boxed and ready to go. Very nice folks (and I didn't have to pay shipping).

Thought there was a dark cloud hovering over em. Don’t use them myself although have considered the 750s.

Never had anything but great service from MTP. This year I ordered a bunch of stuff on a Monday night at 10 pm and I got an email saying it had shipped by 8 am the next morning. It got to my house at noon on Friday, would have been sooner but for some reason ups always sends my packages from them to Billings and then to me, which makes no sense cause the truck goes by fifty miles south of me to get to the depot 250 miles west of me....then shipped back from there.

Anyhow, MTP isn’t to blame for the shipping company’s lack of sense.

Shipping costs have gone through the roof. I keep track by reading Logistics Management. I have never ordered from MTP but I think the shipping cost is legitimate.

If I drove from my NY location to Pennock MN to pick my order up it would cost me $290 round trip, 2090 miles in my 19mpg truck. I guess that $20 shipping charge ain't bad. You don't like shipping charges get in your car and drive.
