My girls all enjoyed the little House on the Prairie books. Maybe a copy of Curwood's Nomads of the North.

What kind of books are you looking for, loose goose? What age are your girls? The oldest is almost 7, but she'll love something a little older. Something like Anne of Green gables or the little house on the prairie might do the trick.

"Ramona the Brave" or any of the Ramona books by Beverly Cleary. Hilarious to kids 7 and younger.
Judy Blume had some pretty good books for girls that age too.

Judy Blume had some pretty good books for girls that age too. X2 I collect kids books and give them out to the kids I work with and the Ramona books or anything by Beverly Cleary is snatched up fast Some other good ones are The Cabin faced west by Jean Fritz Phoebe the spy by Judith Berry Along came a dog by Menidert dejong
