Hornady oneshot gun cleaner and dry lube , it has a solvent that carries the dry lube , in pistols generally carbon is the biggest issue this flushes carbon out and leaves a rust protective film and lube , it dries dry and doesn't attract/allow further dust and dirt to stick. also polymer safe.

and an M16 brush as some call it a double ended nylon brush
https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1018544759?pid=509674cleaned 2 38 revolvers in a few minutes each the other night spray them down brush carbon , run a bore snake and use the nylon brush on the rod to get the cylinder, final spray and wipe down and done.
I had let one of the Glocks go about 2K rounds without cleaning , still an easy clean up hose out the lower with the one shot , brush at it a bit spray down again to flush any remaining carbon out ,wear gloves , while if flushes the carbon form the hard surfaces of the gun very well it deposits it in the cracks of your hands very well.
no need to go back and lube the, lube was in the solvent. the exception is I still put a couple drops of oil on the gas rings on the bolt in an AR but it is a direct gas system oil helps with gas seal.
spray and brush the slide spray again , spray and run the pull through a couple times through the barrel re-assemble.
the Hornady OneShot is a time savings , plastic safe , finish safe and it doesn't get sticky like other lubes I have used do with time.
high velocity stuff , 223 , 308 I use Hoppes foaming bore cleaner to get the copper out after the first range trip , after about 100 rounds , then after 200 rounds and then about every 300 rounds , this does need to be neutralized then oiled. some people will go decades and not shoot that much high velocity >2400fps ammo my 30-06 doesn't see that many rounds , I have used the Barnes copper solvent in the past also , it works well if you have heavy copper build up but is very harsh on finish and the nose.
