We have had two rounds of snow and looking at a possible third before we usually get our first. I have had stellar jays, evening grosbeaks, downy woodpeckers and numerous chickadees and titmice in my feeders long before they usually show up. I have never had a magpie and have two of them. Something strange is going on out there.

Hard winter coming.....

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Quite a few snow geese migrating today. Seems pretty strange for them to be coming through so early as well. Hard to believe it is October 12. They're about 3 weeks early.

We seem to be going from summer to winter, no fall in between.

Our lilacs are blooming again now. I have never heard of that happening.
