I can't make it. I wish I could. This needs to happen and if anyone would like to participate, it's open to everyone. At least try to get the word out. The more people that show, the better! Mods, maybe make this thread sticky?

I am not one to travel to the big city.... allergic to asphalt, cement, and city slickers. I know I would be amongst my kind but I won't travel to DC. Perhaps a 2nd Amendment rally in every state on the same day. I am all for that.

Too poor for the ticket

You may think before you act. The question is did you listen to your own council?

Unless we take back our country, many people going to these pro-Second Amendment rallies will likely experience the new Red Flag laws first hand.

Yup. Every State capitol on that same day.
Going to happen sooner or later. Sooner means less dead bodies on the ground.

A lot of excuses for not going. Sad...
This world is ran by people who show up. Maybe its the conservatives that are lazy and the libs that really care.

Thanks Finster! Ill check this out and and make arrangements probably. If I can take days off to hunt and go to school functions I can make sure I go to this.

I hope there is a big turnout. Hopefully there will be some marches in each state for those of us who have the want to but not the dinero.

Sure would be quite event if some of us pitched tents in some park near the Mall.

When going into big cities I usually park on the outskirts and ride train or subway in.

Great....but protests/Marches never yield change. Ever. Fun to watch but a waste of time in the end.

So you think all the furvor to get new more restrictive laws pushed through was just some spontaneous urge that congress had? BBBB SSSSSSSSSS IT IS A DIRECT RESULT OF MARCHES AND PROTESTS!!!!!!!
Same with the fur industry! Victory goes to those who show up! It’s about fifteen hundred miles further for me than a lot of members on here and if there was ANY WAY I COULD MAKE IT I WOULD. We are down five drivers do to injury, illness and family crisis we are all working 12-14 hr days just to cover existing accounts. I don’t even have time to put elk meat in the freezer. Maybe get lucky on my federally mandated time off duty but who knows
Can’t hire temporary hazmat drivers thats for shure. OK rant over you all enjoy your rondys and conventions
and state association shindigs.

Buwahahaha!!!
Utterly ridiculous.

June 2000
Tennessee's successful tax revolt.
"...what is so amazing about what the citizens have done here is to show that taxpayers can fight back and win."
www.sweetliberty.org/issues/staterights/tenn_taxprotest.htm

" In a remarkable display of GOVERNMENT BY THE PEOPLE, thousands of angry Tennesseans stormed the state capitol to defeat a budget proposal that would have established a state income tax."

"For the third consecutive year, protesters claimed victory..."

"The protests several times forced state lawmakers back to the drawing board on the budget, as numerous plans to increase taxes were defeated."
https://www.cfif.org/htdocs/legislative_issues/state_issues/legis_state_tennessee.htm

Then there's the American Revolution, Civil Rights, etc, etc.

Why did the Founding Fathers enshrine our Rights to assemble and to petition for the redress of grievances in the very first Amendment to the Constitution? Because protesting is so ineffective, obviously. SMH

Yup, showing up en masse and making our opinion known sure is a big old waste of time... Buwahahaha!!!
