The president of the Structural Pest Control Board, an Orkin VP, is making moves to roll NWCO work into the Dept of Ag under Pest Control regs. He's already threatening to prosecute beekeepers who remove bees from structures and rule squirrels and birds off limits to anyone but PCOs.
This is the same guy found guilty of fraud in Mississippi.

Fortunately case law is on our side, Google Merrifield v. California.

Al La France and I followed behind them years back, where they had given an elderly couple ( 80's) an estimate to seal a tight ranch home for 20 K.. Upscale neighborhood and on a local lake.Inspection found no current or previous bat activity, and they had lived in the home for almost 50 years and this was the first bat.
