Hens, chickens, oysters, honeys when I can find them and want to try Berkley polypore and black staining polypore. also, want to try lions mane if I can find some.

Not all puffballs are edible, and even edible puffballs aren't edible in certain stages, but if you only eat puffballs that are completely white inside with the texture of a marshmallow, you'll be okay. No gills, no pores, smoothish skin, and a marshmallow interior=good to eat.

I love all mushrooms.With the puffballs,,I pick the BIG ones.Slice them maybe 3/4 inch thick slices.Bread them and fry them.Then,,I cover them with spaghetti sauce and Mozzarella and parmesean cheese,then bake them for a bit till the cheese is melted and the mushroom is hot.I call it PuffBall Parmesean.But I think my favorite is oyster mushrooms and venison.
