Yeah finally got fed up speed had my time grinding spatter and all the other goodies that come with flux core. Don't get me wrong it works but egh crazy Anyhow didn't really wanna mess with MIG and I don't have a 220 hookup for a full size sick welder so I found this little guy at tractor supply. It runs off of a standard 120 socket and can run up to 1/8" rods ( in most types , I think 1/8 6011 was too much if I read the box right). Suppose to be able to weld DC If as well with a torch in a scrach or lift arch method . SO far I've been running it on 3/32nd rods and it's been doing or pretty dang good. I don't think you could go and start welding in the pipe line with it lol but seems like it will be just the ticket for trap mods ,stake and drag making and making calls gates and such. Gonna run it for a few more weeks and see what happens but am and all seems pretty solid for a little $240 machine.

Moving up in this world wolfie… have fun using it. I am sure you will make a lifelong hobby of welding and tinkering your pastime, so I bet this won't be your last welder purchase.

Just switch the leads to reverse polarity. A simple twist and unplug and then plug and twist.
