Not a crop update on yield and price but you can click on your state and it will show you the harvest progress for corn for this year, last year and the average.

One can see where the dry weather was as those states have harvest at or ahead of the average.
The site is updated every Monday so the figures are recent. I will check to see if this is done for soybeans also.

We are way behind around me in Missouri. Statewide said 26% of soybeans harvested and I would guess we are around 10% done. Can not get more than a day or so at a time of running before another shower. I have had hay down now for 5 days and its been rained on twice and still likely won't dry today. Can not get a forecast right now for more than two days of no rain in the next 10.

I’m cussing and swearing out loud to myself trying find the right line. Re plants are making this last field a corn maze. Rows pop up, and disappear.

I have not found a link that can get more specific for states as to like counties etc. Very difficult to get that precise and local without having a lot of volunteer persons getting information in by a certain time.

Some states I am sure have a lot of variation as to harvest completion percentage, as many had a lot of variation with planting.

Lots of corn and beans still in the fields here lots of hay won't get cut this year also, in the places they have harvested crops they have black ruts in the low spots often and tracked equipment standing by to pull them out when needed.

Tn still has some jars of corn left to do I think. Or is that barrels

The price of corn is holding steady in my neck of the woods.

The slower the harvest in the fall the steadier or better prices hold as there is no real rush on drying and storage as the season is extended. With 13.6 billion bushel there is no real harvest pressure on facilities. The almost 2 billion bushels of carryover is what makes storage a bit more dicey.
Sure hope things sort out a bit with trade issues as with the world economy slowing and the dollar strong exporting, grains, beef and pork will be much more difficult.
