Wife has a 2018 Crosstrek, getting around 36 mpg. No problems so far and runs great with nearly 30k miles on it. Didn't know about the bunny hugging orientation. I'll scold my wife this evening.

Wife dragged in a Forester a few years ago. It has used oil the whole time and the dealer has been no help there, just excuses and dance. I did rotors and pads, no different than others to me.
Growing crack in windshield. When fighting dealer about oil, I noticed a dealer option there. A bar that connects both upper inner fenders (chassis support). At present I ponder if that part may have saved the shield.
To me it's just a ride with no feelings or ties to the maker.
