I have a friend that would like me to trap skunk as soon as the season open Nov 2nd. I was thinking a 160 in a cuddy box. I am not sure of bait. I do not have any beaver. I do have mice I preserved and ground up, would that work? Another choice is beaver lure??? Any help appreciated!

I use cheap dry cat food. I pick up coon and mink once in a while also.

Cheap eggs from Aldi.

What kind of habitat do those of you who target them specifically look for? I've dug around the archives a bit and didn't find a whole lot on location preferences.

Poultry farms. If you happen to be close to a poultry farm you will see skunks every where after dark. Hang out for an hour or two after dark where you want to trap with a bright flash light and walk around a bit. I got some prime skunk trapping territory.
