And I am taking my son who just turned 5 to deer camp for the weekend and leaving the girls home! Going to be his first time sitting in a deer blind, I dont have real high hopes for a kill since he doesnt sit real still but im not making the weekend about that. I hope we get the chance to atleast see a deer while we are in the blind but most importantly we have to take his trap basket and his raccoon traps. I have 3 dog proofs and some marshmallows and some carmel syrup for him to put in them. I will be heading back down in a few weeks for almost a solid week of trapping and deer hunting, had to adjust a few days due to a new press being installed at work. To say I am looking forward to my first season trapping is a understatement!

Morris, NY. we have 75 acres and a shed we finished into a sleeping area with baseboard heating and such. Its cozy, I was there when it was -25 out and i was just as warm as could be!

Sounds great!!! Good luck to you both. Remember if they are cold it's no fun I bring The Boy a sleeping bag to the stand/blind with a bunch of hand warmers and lots of snacks I am a firm believer that the right snacks make or break the hunt lol. Post pics!!!
