Well I think it's definitely better than NAFA shuttering it's doors which was what sounded like the alternative.

"Ranch mink remains terminally depressed as price levels remain far below production costs and as predicted in our May 2018 report the fallout is dramatic as ranchers are pelting out in large numbers mostly across North America. It is questionable if 2 million mink will remain in North America next season."
FHA prediction March 2019
Watch to see if SAGA's offering moves up more than 2 million. They are already offering the same amount they offered last year.

NAFA - Not American Fur Anymore or NAFA - North America's Finnish Auction or NAFA - Not Able Financially Anymore etc
you can vote your way into socialism, but you will have to shoot your way out.

I thought nafa just changed banks what happened to that story line? No bank in their right mind would lend them what they wanted for their mink ranchers. To high of a risk would be my guess.

With rats and coons , wild mink and reds the most common species for me to harvest and with very low prices for most of that fur this is not a bad time for me to continue to send a reasonable amount of my fur collection up to see how this works out. I will contact our new route person to see how all this has or will impact them.
