What watch do you swear by? And beat up?

This beauty even spent an entire winter under snow after I lost it until I found it the next spring.
It’s about 8 years old. Has seen everything. And keeps great time.

I’m contemplating a new watch but I’m not sure I can do it. This thing has been awesome.

*note. If I remember correctly I paid around 150$. In a eBay auction.

Plane old Timex Expedition. Plain Jane with Iniglo of course. Haven't worked out that seeing in the dark thing yet.

I like the Forester sold at Walmart for $15.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Don't need a watch in the bush.No appointments to keep.Wear a watch in town occasionally.

Why do you.need a watch?
My phone tells time
Has GPS
Has a campus
Has maps and property owner information
Ect,ect?
Even tells me how many calories I have burned

Useless bling imho.....

luminox are nice - a little pricey but they will last

i have a couple of timex expedition that i carry in the truck and a couple of bags. probably best value for your dollar in the watch world

sometimes its nice to have a watch in the field, either as a backup time keeper to your phone, etc...

or to let you know how long until sunup or sundown

after not wearing a watch for years, my wife got a fitbit for me a few years ago and have started looking at my wrist for the time again. it also makes a decent night light for trips to bathroom in the dark

Interesting topic and OP story on his watch. I know many people that wear watches everyday and have for their entire life.

I for one have never wore a watch but I have been given a few through the years. I have never used a watch or felt the needed to have one even through my working days. Being retired I don't care what time it is and very seldom even look at a wall clock I just live and don't care what time it is.

Havent needed a watch since I was a kid. My only need to know the time is to keep track of.the tides, and I do that with my GPS.

If you travel out of the United States a Rolex is the way to go. You can sell or trade them anywhere, if you need cash to get out of trouble. It's amazing what a little cash can buy you out of, or into in.

You can buy used Rolex's at auctions and they will last a lifetime.
