It’s definitely fixed for the Packers

Jags were beating the Pats in the 4th a few years back and Jalen Ramsey was told by the coach to give it to them cause the commissioner said it's better for the league. Next thing ya know, Pats win.
No Jab.

No the NFL is not Fixed.......It has been broken for several years and seems to be getting worse rather than better.

I’m not sure how it could be, the speed at which things happen during plays would make it nearly impossible

I think the current ref issues are the visible tail wagging of a system so filled with sports gambling and money that being fixed is probably an understatement and unfortunately it is not just the NFL as there are sports enjoy much more that also show similar behaviors. We complain about health care, legal fees, price of items but if we took all the salaries of the pro NFL players and added them up and divided that total by the total number of actual game minutes played in the 16 games times 30 odd teams per season the hourly rate would stagger us all I am sure and we as a society feel good about those costs. Ooops I forgot the pre season games but it will still be high. We could also do similar with players like Harper to see how much he gets paid per hit, but will need many years to get a good handle on that.
Bryce Sure if you only equate their value with on field production but you should also include how much their product produces for the owners. Sports is a business. Owners are not going to pay you 30 million if they dont expect to make more than that in return.

No, I do not believe the games are fixed.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I don it think players suffer concussions, compound fractures, torn this and that, destroyed knees and shoulders, stupid long weeks of boring tough practice etc for a rigged deal. Now the officiating being competent in what has become a crazy fast and complex game is certainly suspect. I guide clients who are pro athletes and also some who are refs. Both are fiercely proud of what they have accomplished and what they are responsible for.
