My dog has been around plenty of catches including cats. He pretty much keeps his distance and never takes his eye off the critter. He was probably safer than me.

Good job letting the bobcat go. Those totes have a bad tendency to get brittle if exposed to sunlight or cold. You might want to get a heavier tote. Having a tote break, while straddling an angry bobcat, would likely be a very bad experience.

Nice video. I've used that method a couple times and it works well. I will agree with Keith, watch them cheap totes when it's cold. I had one shatter on me and let me tell ya, that cat will test your reflexes, lol.

I like that. But I bet it's harder on a tangled in the brush cat. Released a couple Fisher by just dropping a five gallon bucket over them. Works slick.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.
