Boomers, gen x, etc all of em got weirdos. We just notice it more now cause there’s round the clock information highways everywhere and things of importance just don’t happen that often so the gaps get filled with it. I’ve met very few millennials that actually fit the stereotype. I suppose that's due to where you live. In IL, I only ever saw 2 millennials that did NOT fit the common stereotype... here in MS it's quite different... with 75% of blacks fitting the stereotype and maybe 25% of whites. In IL it seemed mostly due to ignorance.... you'd ask them... do you support raising taxes? No. Ok, do you support owning a gun? Of Course! What about abortion? I don't agree with it. Illegals? I think they should come into the country legally or not at all. OK, good... so who are you voting for??? [Insert] Hillary or Bernie of course! Ugh. This describes everyone of my democrat friends.

I grew up in the 70's. I'm pretty sure the older generation back then looked at us and wondered WTH! It happens with every generation I think.

They're a product of a soft society. Even though we've been in wars for 20 years, they're optional and they don't have to participate. Doesn't affect them back home. Goes to the old saying: Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times. We're in the weak men phase. It's gonna get hard again sooner rather than later. I believe that. I do too.

Was at the mvd earlier taking care of business, a young adult (maybe 20 yo, had a "man bun" and different color hair) had to come help the lady helping me and tells me...... getting some adulting done today, ha? I looked at him confused and said nope, that's everyday.
Mind you I was with my kids.
What's with the attitude of not being a "man" or "woman", acting like being responsible is stupid?
I guess I wasn't there to make judgment, but it sounds like he may have been complementing you.
Some people refuse to see the truth when you bludgeon them over the head with it.

I’m 38 by the way, I was raised by parents who gave a crap about me, and made sure that I was taught right from wrong, given whoopins when needed, My pop was tough as nails on me, and I thank God everyday that he was! He raised a hard, god fearing man. There are some good folks that are growing up behind me. But there’s some bad ones too. But from what I’ve seen there’s a mix in all generations.

like paying taxes , DMV registration of cars , paying bills.
things previous generations of persons over the age of 17 just took as normal responsibilities , this generation gave a name so that they can distinguish when they are acting like a competent responsible human being and when they are in child like fun and good times play mode
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
