Neat. I always found it interesting to see patents approved (for whatever product, any industry). Someone found it important-enough to hire a patent attorney to file and follow this through for them. So clearly they saw a need for that mechanism. I wonder the name of the product?

looks like a disposable single use product that the patent is more about the packaging process than the product.

Redknot, do you have any sources for studies that show a prevalence of CWD prions in urine that's high enough to spread the disease? I've heard of states banning the use of real urine to prevent CWD but haven't seen anything reputable that shows there are enough prions in urine to substantiate a ban.
