I’ve got a Rossi 357 I’ve been wanting to use but just haven’t yet.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Winchester model 94... chambered in 30-30 ...original iron sights ...born in 1948 ...and as beautiful as the day it was made. It’s as Americana as it gets.

Shot my .444 Marlin today. Had skinner peep sights put on it. I was surprised how well I shot it at 100yds. Hope to get a buck or bear with it this season!

Usually have my M94 in .30WCF with me in truck or on dogsled, 1911 vintage. Shot everything from grouse and rabbits up to moose with 170gr. Silvertips from that lovely rifle. Just gave my M86 in .33WCF, (1907 vintage) to my nephew (1999 vintage) who fancies old leverguns. Also have a M95 in 30/06 that I don't shoot much, (kicks like a mule with 220gr. Bullets).

3 Marlins. A 70's vintage .45-70, a 336 in .30/30, and another in .35. Son has 2 94 Winchesters and a Savage 99 in .300 Savage. We like them all.

I have my Grandfathers Savage 99 in a .250. Don't use it to hunt with anymore but that gun has a lot of history with it.

Marlin 1895 G. 45-70.

2 Alberta bears will attest that it works.

Mounted a Leupold 1.5x5x20 on it to take deer hunting in a month.

WISH I HAD MORE TIME TO TRAP!

Top rifle is my grand fathers Model 94 Winchester in 32-40 I'm told it was made in 1920 or 21. I haven't followed up on that date by serial number check, was just what was told that by relative. I've shot one deer with it since I gotten it...
The shorter rifle is my fathers Model 94 Winchester in 30-30. He told me he was given that rifle for his 16th birthday that dates it in the 1940s?? haven't checked that either.. Dad left it to my sister when he died and she let me take it out last fall and shoot a deer with it..
When I was younger I was kinda scared of the lever guns dealing with the hammer/safety and cold fingers..
I did carry the 32-40 this fall the couple days i sat over bear bait..

Mark, your pictures make me want to go on gun broker and buy one. Nice rifles. …...Maybe Lori will go to PA with her sister again for a few days

I love lever guns. My first was a Daisy buffalo bill BB gun I got for my 8th B-day. If I hit the lottery I will have a room full of levers.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....
