The other Robert is just fine.

My grievous leg wound has finally healed over 90% and I was finally able to dispense

with the bandages. I had been getting it dressed and wrapped every day

at the medical center in Pulaski since October 22nd. Still pumped full of antibiotics and now steroids

as I developed some significant Bronchitis, and I also had gout in my ankle.

Needless to say I have not set a muskrat trap yet this season.

The Lake Ontario water level is so high that most muskrat habitat is inundated

and untrappable to any profitable extent.

I set three beaver sets yesterday since I can now wear hip boots.

I had 1 fired in place #44 B&L at a castor mound this morning.

I have been mostly catching up on my trap dying and waxing

and sitting Deer watch every morning and evening.

Funny you should say I got crushed by a tree in the big storm, BOCO.

The bench I sit on for Deer Watch had a tree blow over on it

during the big blow, but fortunately I wasn't in it when it happened.

I have been lurking on Trapperman every day

but don't have anything to say (Right Now).

Speaking of trees falling. A couple weeks ago me and my buddies were sighting in our guns and just plinking. As we were reloading and talking my one buddy was just two feet away from me and a big branch fell (widow maker) right between us, just perfect without hitting us. It was big enough that if it hit us, well wouldn't have ended well. Just a share. Glad your healing up walleyed.

Haven’t seen any mange in years. I was being serious about your sores. My Great Aunt dealt with the same thing. Just gotta blow on it.

Walleyed- Glad you're healing up, all that stuff can catch up with after a while.

Catch22- Glad that big branch cleared both of you. That's one thing nice about liiving in a former prairie, don't have to worry about such things as much as you forest dwellings. Did your narrow escape make you think about things later that night...?
