The bucks are on the move in Ontario. scrapes just appeared the last few days. We had a bit of snow the other day. Easy to see what is around. Good luck . old 243

They started making scrapes on my place between Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. I got pictures of 3 "new" bucks that are pretty decent.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Hunted this weekend starting to see a little bit of activity but not much yet. Just a little looking but not much cruising and no chasing.

Sat with my son during the youth hunt in central Arkansas Saturday morning. Saw two bucks cruising between 7:45 and 8:30am.

Chasing in NC and the ladies are still with their fawns. Seen a lot of feeding together but the young ones being the most rambunctious. Almost like the bigger fellas are laughing like - you aint seen nothing yet! Young 8 shot Sunday on the coast whose tarsal glands were practically a bottle of Dunlaps (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) Fire.

Hunted all day yesterday and finally saw this fella at 2:20 and I shot right under him. Went in to the blind 600 yards down over the hill at the Beaver swamp today because of the rain. I didn't feel like sitting out in it all day today. And at 8:00 here he comes and gave me another opportunity and I made this one count.first time I've ever got to take a deer out of a pop up blind. Biggest bodied buck I've ever taken in pa. 211 lb at the processor. The deer movement has been hit and miss this last week, usually around here the first week of November is crazy but it seems different this year. Kind of slow.

Life's too short, enjoy everyday like it was your last.
