I must confess two things, I'm not a writer and I'm sicker then a dog right now with some kind of bug. I just can't stand idol time. So I wrote of a memory about a fishing adventure when I was a kid. I don't expect it to go no further then perhaps some enjoyment from family, I'm good with that. Does anyone else pen stories of the days gone bye?

I like to write songs and poems, I am not good at it but I do enjoy it.

I enjoy writing songs and limericks. I have started some stories of my youth but haven’t completed any yet.

I agree with James, you all should consider sharing over on the Pen and Quill forum. Kind of quiet over there.

I wrote science papers, book chapters, etc. for years based on biological research I was involved in. Mostly predator stuff. Shifted over about a decade ago into popular articles for a variety of outlets, a couple books. Much more enjoyable to spin a yarn about a hunting or trapping trip than to argue with editors and reviewers on natural history subjects. And yes, family and close friends usually do enjoy a fictional or non-fiction story. As James mentioned, please submit your tale on the Pen and Quill forum here on Tman.

I have had a couple of hunting stories published in a bow hunting magazine.

I do a little … I have published almost 200 articles and my rat trapping book since 1972. I have one now waiting to be accepted at Trappers Post. Have had several published FFG and a couple in Trappers post. Since I had the 2 TIAs in 2017 it has become very difficult, but still working on at it … I think it is good therapy for me. I also have been writing poetry since grade school when I had the first one published. I published an E-novel on Amazon and have another one all done, but last 2 chapters, where I stopped when the TIAs hit me. Making notes on another one, but don't know if I will even try it …. time will tell.

I've wrote a lot of articles, most haven't seen the light of day but some are out there. Just whenever the mood hits as I'm more of a stream of consciousness writer.

Have not written any stories but I've been a musician and songwriter since high school. Did some studio recording, sold a few song rights. I've never heard of any of it getting any airtime though.. lol

My 2 sons wrote a paperback book together and got it published about 6 months ago

I have enjoyed writing short stories in the past. I haven't written anything for quite awhile but have been thinking about doing some here lately.


Although I never did entirely finish it, I had written a book that many who read it said would be a really good movie.....lol.

Paul scrubbed Pen & Quill a while back. Used to be a lot more traffic there.

People will comment and critique your story there, unless you don't want it.
