Sadly the only way he can try to remain relevant in the game since his limited skills are all but gone now and he get peddled from team to team. No respect for the goon since he crushed Ryan Miller many years ago when he was playing a puck out of the net. So much for his sympathy for goalies. Miller called it right many years ago when he called him what he is. But no worries his shoes have been filled in Boston by another first class role model Marchand who routinely pitch forks guys in the groin with his stick and has an obsession with licking faces. If it were the old days one lick and he would have been laid out on the spot.
That's the most gentle pitchfork I have ever seen on a goalie. Definitely did not deserve the "sucker" punch. I don't think it was a true sucker punch, but Sherwood definitely was not expecting a right hook. I think he was expecting to get what he deserved which was a little shoving match and scolding that if he comes close again its go time. Now, if he came in and truly pitchforked him and actually moved the goalie then yes, feed him lunch.

Milan Lucic, another washed up thug. Add him to the list that includes Todd Bertuzzi and Matt Cooke.
Matt Cooke is in a league of his own. Lucic will have your back....cus there are plenty of cheap shots still in the game....and someone has to police that crap. Some guys just need a tune-up once in a while. It’s also a game where fighting is allowed....and should stay that way.
It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.

I have no respect for any sport, or it's players, with a position named "The Enforcer"!
Most people that think that don't understand the game itself. The real enforcers are gone as the game has changed. There was a time when the were needed. Brett Hull himself said there never would have been a Brett Hull if it weren't for Tony Twist and other enforcers. Your comment is ignorant, but I understand where you come from. You like lots of people don't get the game and the enforcers role. Sydney Crosby would not have all his concussions today if it were the game of old with enforcers. Players have no fear now to cheap shot the all stars where years ago there would be repercussions for doing so. I miss old school hockey.
No Jab.
