Didnt spend a dime on beaver this year just using the left over supply's and the hide and castor should cover travel. The black trumpet mushrooms were picked on a family camping trip so should wash out.

As long as the beaver is properly cooked, that is the big thing.

We used to have a place down home called Pechin's. You could feed a family of 4 for about $3. And that was a meal of roast beef, mashed taters, veggies, and a large drink.

If you went the burger route you could almost knock another dollar off that.

Heck this was well into the late 80's, early 90's.

It's one of those backwoods redneck strip malls. Everything in the grocery store was basically bulk. They heated the place with card board boxes thrown into a big ole furnace that at any given time you could fall into as you shopped.
It was also not unheard of to pull a box of something off the shelf and there'd be a rat staring at you while it ate from the box behind it.

Cases of dirt cheap beer.
Rubber worms in bulk.
Live bait by the cooler full.
